本学学類では初となる、京都大学及び国立台湾大学とのジョイント講義（遠隔授業）が平成29年度秋学期より、新規開設科目として行われました。これは京都大学農学部と国立台湾大学生物資源農学院とのジョイントクラス（遠隔講義システムによる合同授業）に今年度から本学類が参画することで実現するものであり、三つの大学の教員が交代で授業を担当します。
This is a distance learning course conducted in English with Kyoto Univ. and National Taiwan University, Taiwan. The instructors include Prof. Kitamura, Makajima, Marcos, Tofael from University of Tsukuba and also Prof. Naoshi Kondo and Garry Piller from Kyoto University, and Prof. Suming Chen and Ping-Lang Yen from National Taiwan University. The scope and current trends in Bio-Systems Engineering will be introduced, followed by student presentations and discussion on topics in the field of Bio-Systems Engineering. Through this experience of international communication your reading, speaking, listening and discussion skills will be enhanced during the semester.
